you post is confusing, who put the wrong information?

I have been accepted at ........ college in California for this Spring Term and I have already gotten the I-20 Form from that College but College Officer typed wrong sponsor which is shown FATHER on section 8 in I-20 Form because my Dad can't be sponsor for me so that I had showed the other Sponsor them before. So now If I go to the Interview at the US Embassy, I am afraid that Embassy Officer will refuse my visa because of that confusing.

is there any body suffered like that problem and what happened to when you met Counselor Officer at the US Embassy?

To be safe and If you still have time, you can contact that college. I guess it should not be a problem for them to re-issue a correct I20.

Thank you so much, I appreciate you, yes I contacted that college and they re-issued a correct I-20.

now I'm preparing for the interview.
