As I understand it, being gay in Russia isnt something to be open about. That Putin might be gay only adds him to the list of anti gay folks who are only that way because they can't he honest about their true sexual orientation.

Is being gay a negative thing? It shouldn't be, but if Putin were gay I don't see him coming out of the closet anytime soon.
