Help with a question please to my visajourney community

My fiancee is arriving here in the U.S. to marry on December 12, 2013. Her visa has an expiration date of 3/24/2014. I will have all the proof, documents and forms done and completed and sent in to the USCIS for the I-485 (Greencard) for processing at the end of January of 2014. They will receive my I-485 in plenty of time. but, I am almost positive she will not receive her conditional green card before her visa expires.

If her visa expires on 3/24/2014 before the green card is issued, does she become illegal then, or is there an extension or a form we need to complete to prevent this.

Please help!!!

Thank you

The visa is dead on arrival. She will use up the visa when she enters the US. It will be replaced with a I-94, good for 90 days, in which you have to marry. Then you will file for the AOS, and once the I-485 (main AOS form) is received, she will begin a NEW period of authorized stay until her I-485 is decided on.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
