I'm about to send out my Adjustment of status but i'm not sure if I need to submit an employer's letter of my husband. Is it necessary? We're sending out his latest ITR, w2 and letter of no 3 year ITR (he just got here after college). I appreciate your help.

August 19, 2006 VISA ON HAND!!!

September 5, 2006- POE @ SFO

September 8, 2006- Applied for SSN

SSN arrived more than a month after.. GRRR!!

November 8, 2006- MARRIED @ San Francisco City Hall

November 21, 2006- Received official marriage certificate

Dec. 19, 2006- sent out AOS

Jan. 3, 2007- Cashed cheques for AOS and EAD

March 15, 2007- AOS interview; APPROVED!!

March 23, 2007- Welcome letter/notice received from mail

March 27, 2007- GREENCARD

Sept 5, 2007 - my first anniversary in the U.S

Jan 30, 2009 - Mailed I-751 removal of conditional residence status

Feb 2, 2009 - Package mailed 10:22 AM at Laguna Niguel, CA (CSC)

Feb 5, 2009 - Check cashed

Feb 26, 2009 Biometrics

hi there

yes if your husband is working ask the employer to do one llike you had to get for the K1 visa...with date started his hourly rate and that he is currently emplyed..on company letterhead...

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

It certainly wouldn't hurt. We did it. We wanted to do everything in our power to avoid an RFE. Some people have been asked for them, though it isn't considered mandatory. I would say better safe than sorry.

K1 Journey:

Yes, ABSOLUTELY!!! I received an RFE for it, which could have been avoided if I had sent it in initially.

just read the comments now.............and...

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!! i didnt. cz everything was all ready but the boss wasnt there, i've been delaying this AOS thing and i had enough of it.

Alll my friends that are going under AOS didnt submit an employer's letter though and they all were approved.. i just hope I won't get an RFE.. :crying:
