Hi all,

I had my interview today and was approved but I still have the passport photos! I originally gave them to the woman and she cut 2 out and was accidently stapling them to the wrong file (someone with a similar name to mine) and then she took them off and gave them back to me...along with the other 2.

I am worried now. Don't they need my 2 photos for the visa???

They take a photo of your photos... if you see what I mean. Did you notice that they moved your photo off into the corner under what looks like a webcam at the first window where you handed over your paperwork? That's them digitising your photo for use, since the visa is just printed out from some magical visa printing machine.

I think they usually keep another one (or two) for records. I wouldn't panic. :)

Oh, and congratulations! :)

I never noticed! I was busy looking for my police report in my folder while she was dealing with my photos.

Phew :) Thanks for putting my mind to rest about that!

Thanks!

I too was approved in London yesterday. I didn't notice what the lady did with my photos but when she handed them back she definitely said I would need them for my AOS

Congratulations to you too!

I also e-mailed them last night just to be sure and they said they do not need to keep the photos :)

Just waiting on the delivery, status has been changed to 'issued' :D
