Ankara - Turkey: How far should we schedule the medical exam ahead of interview?

Hi all,

My fiancee and her family will travel from Syria to Turkey to have her medical exam and visa interview. We're trying to make the trip to Ankara as short as possible since they're planning to travel to Istanbul and wait for the visa there with their relatives who live in Turkey. The interview will be on a Thursday morning. Is it good idea to schedule the medical examination on Monday of the same week? Or would that be too late?

Thanks in advance!

My fiance is Iranian and is having his interview through the Ankara Embassy. His interview is on a Thursday, and they told me that a Tuesday morning appointment was sufficient (So less than 48 hours from doctor appointment to embassy). Do Turkish beneficiaries also go through doctorun.com? They emailed back within a couple of hours, so if you use the same doctor, you may just want to double-check with them. I've found the whole process at the Ankara embassy to be very smooth so far.

You need at least 48 hours and yes my finance is Turkish and made his appointment on line. Though I had to help him with some of the English on it. You can always call them too and make sure they have all you need in regards to immunizations

Thank you guys, that's reassuring! I forgot to mention that my fiancee has lost her immunization records so she will probably opt for getting the immunizations again in Turkey. With that in mind, do you think 48 hours is still sufficient?

Thanks!

It should just be prepared to have the money to pay for all of them. And I think I read somewhere that they don't accept immunization records from Iran anyway so you would still need them.
