Hello everyone!

I am completely new to this and everyone has a different view and explantion. I will be hopefully in the next two weeks be sending in the first wave of documents needed to get my Serbian fiance a Visa for the US.

I am sort of understanding everything that is needed and hopefully will have everything in order to send soon! The only thing that is unclear is where to send it! I've read that I have to send it to Texas, than there is a lock box in Chicago (where I'm from), and than I've read a bunch of other possible places to send. It is definetely unclear where to send your K-1 Fiance Visa Packet when filing from Serbia.

I currently am residing there with my Fiance so we will be doing the bulk of the paperwork from there.... I was just wondering if anyone had any clue where to send all this....

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Please reread the instructions for the I-129F form. If you missed where to send it, then you probably missed other important things. I know that's kind of a lame answer, but you should have those instructions memorized. The address is right there in the instructions.

Where you are from and where your fiance is from is totally irrelevant when sending in the I-129F Packet. It will be sent to Texas. Where to specifically is solely determined by which service you choose to send it with.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

There is a box that says "Where do I file this form?"

The new instructions now link you to the place to see it, but, you should find that spot anyway.
