Thanks for the support! Still heard nothing and it is VERY hard being away from the one you love most, but you just have to keep telling yourself that this is just a short wait and you have the rest of your lives together.. it's kinda harder for me because my Fiance is just 18 (I am 20) and she suffers from anxiety and depression so every little setback sets her off on a rant about how it's going to take years which in turn makes me sad too! Oh well I really do hope things start looking up for us all soon! Good luck everyone

You should be able to talk to a Tier 2 supervisor at USCIS regarding your case. Try contacting your congressman/Senator's office and ask them for help on your case.

Does anyone know how long it is taking for approved petitions from CSC to reach the NVC? We were approved on Nov. 29th still checking mailbox everyday for our NAO2.

Does anyone know how long it is taking for approved petitions from CSC to reach the NVC? We were approved on Nov. 29th still checking mailbox everyday for our NAO2.

I received my hard copy of NOA2 from CSC after one week of approval. NVC still hasn't received my case, and every time I call, they are telling me to wait 8 weeks, hopefully we will have good news from NVC soon!

I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.

Wait 8 weeks. UGH what about the 9 Months we have already waited:( The Christmas holidays are going to slow down this process even more. I just wanna pay the money and get my husband here with me. What is the point of all this waiting apart?

I ask my self same question too. We have been waiting too long, despite of being married. The way things are moving it will take around 3-5 months in NVC and then couple of months for interview so 6 more months to go, I just find it silly when people complain about their case when they have only started this process in august and so on and they are not even married but oh well hopefully we will have a good news before christmas may be?

My wife got approval letter on November 1st bt till today there is no response from Nvc... when called they told my wife to wait till 25th December? Is it usual or unusual?

According the the visa processing time the K1 should take approximately 5 months.

We have all progressed so far.

My fiance and I see it as a 5 months sacrifice vs. rest the rest of our lives together.

The process can be a drag but soon it will be behind and we all would have endured.

10-03-13: NOA1 from USCIS by email

10-15-13: NOA1 , hardcopy recieved

10-24-13: Alien registration nr was changed

11-12-13: NOA2 from USCIS by email

12-04-13: Our case was shipped to NVC

We just got our case nr today!!! I am so happy :) Just keep calling nvc and email, that's what we did when we were getting impatient :D
