Hey all!

I received my notice of action for my EAD and AOS. I have an account with USCIS online to check the status of my case. The Service Center that I'm dealing with is Missouri. I didn't even know they had one. To check the processing times on the website, the only options are California, Nebraska, Vermont and Texas. I now live in Florida and thought it would be with Texas since that's where my fiance applied for the I-129 petition. Can anyone give me some info?

Thanks!

Thanks! But do you know why my case is in Missouri? I thought there were only 4 Service Centers.

It is in Missouri (National Benefits Center) becaue that center handles your type of case

YMMV

All applications go to NBC after it is initially received in Chicago. For a more detailed explanation of the process, check the link below and go to Appendix B, page 42. Someone here in VJ gave me that link when I asked about how the whole process actually works. I'd say it's an excellent resource and I hope it clears up a few things for you the way it did for me. :)

Missouri did Claudeth's EAD in about 3 months. Then a month later we received a notice that her AOS was transferred to California. Fortunately, she was approved a month later without an interview. We hope your process goes as smoothly as ours did. Good luck
