AP Before Interview. My wife's application was expedited at NVC and we sent the documents to Frankfurt consulate. She is doing research in biology and in the past for a visiting visa, she was put on AP. Now during DS-260, there was a question about biology skills. I knew an AP is in store, and so we sent a CV along with civil documents. Today, the ceac status says AP. We don't know if an interview date has been assigned. Is it typical for AP before interview?

Mine was approved on 12/10 and haven't heard anything either. However, this is normal. NVC says to wait atleast 8 weeks before expecting anything.ClockWatch2.gif

I called the NVC number last night 603-334-0700 , i waited for about 10 mins on the phone, and gave them my USCIS number, the lady told me, my case was rec'vd and in the building on 12/20, in 10 to 20 business days i should get my NVC case number, you should call and find out, because i know i read on the forum, people's case was shipped out but never rec'vd. so just to be safe give them a call.

Hello everyone, just wanted to give an update. I did my weekly call yesterday and was told that I dont have any updates but my packets were received on 12/4 and 12/15. A few minutes after calling I received two emails with checklists, strange I thought. So I called back. Was told that the DS-260 and my AOS was approved so I should disregard the checklists because both were approved. They havent started reviewing my IV packet yet, but it sounds to me that so far so good! Im glad things are getting done during the holidays!

question, who fills out DS-260? petitioner or beneficiary or both?

The beneficiary does.

AOS package = petitioner

IV package = beneficiary

Hi do all green card holders have A-numbers?

Yes.. the green card has the a# (or registration number) on it.
