Heeeelp.....I just received my NOA2 tonight.. When you people file the AOS and IV Packet, did you use the same marriage and birth certificates with the english transcripts used in I-130 or do I have to get more recent certificates to sent them to NVC?

Thanks in advance........

Remember at NVC stage all douments requested must be Originals or certified copies. USCIS only needed a photocopy.

If you have originals or certfied copies you can send in. No need for updating a marriage certficate or birth certificate. But must be originals or certified copies.

Yes. I highly suggest you click on the wiki linked in my signature below. It describes the NVC process for Canadians who sign up for EP (along with the required online forms).

rolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifGlad I did not bother dealing with our lawyer when we received a Checklist email from NVC last Friday Dec.13,2013. Instead I called NVC and got a good answer. We might have the same problem if I contact our lawyer about that checklist.

SAYLIN please help..

I got a false checklist from NVC in December 5. It says that NVC didnt get my AOS (IV and AOS was sent together)

My lawyer didnt listened to me and responded to a checklist, he sent AOS form all over again. What will happen now? should i wait 30 days again untill they review the same form?

is that what's new rule?????

No. Fingerprinting outside the consulate and at VAC have been going on for some time. NVC will only schedule the visa Interview at the consulate. Once you get the Interview letter you need to schedule the fingerprinting at the VAC yourself. See the link below. You need to get your fingerprints and photograph taken at the VAC before you go for the interview at the consulate.

Try calling the NVC, I called them this morning and gave them my USCIS case number. They at leased confirmed my case has arrived at the NVC building on Dec 13th, but hasn't been entered into the system yet.

I'm confused when i call last week they tell me they received my file on dec 2 and when i call today they are telling me they received on dec 6.
now what's true

A question I can answer.. Haha

Dec 2 is the date your file arrived at the dock
Dec 6 is the date your file arrived in the building

That's what the nice lady told me when I asked her why I kept getting 2 different dates also.. She told me she usually always use the later date just to safe when trying to tell someone how long it will take to get a case number
