What is expedite request? My case got approve on Nov 14 and NVC haven't received the case yet. However I talked to Uscis today and they said they already sent it to NVC on Nov 14

if you expedite it, they will make it fast! if the reason is good enough, and if they will grant it too! we expedite our case at nvc bcause of the super typhoon yolanda, and they grant it, so i am not waiting now to the nvc to give me instruction.. i will just bring all the requirements they need to my interview and i will pay the fee on my interview..

NVC doesn't snail mail anything to you or your spouse if they have both email addresses on file. If they have both email addresses, then they send you all correspondence by email.

Thank You :)

Finished for now!!

Hey Sashy! I'm from the April forum too, so welcome to the NVC side :) Your husband will be dealing with Montreal when it comes to the interview etc. They allow electronic processing so hopefully that will speed things up! Good luck in this next journey!

Guys let me know if you have any information about this... I called NVC to know my case number and they don't have my petition yet so i called USCIS and talked to trier 2 and open an request to know my petition has been shipped or not. trier 2(She) dig into the computer and came up with that my petition has been transferred yet I asked why (NO ANSWERT) so she opened an request to know why my petition hasn't been transferred yet. she gave me the inquiry confirmation number. She said to call back after 30 days (seriously) to know the status of this inquiry. I asked how to transfer my petition ASAP(over night) because this is not my fault that my petition has been sitting there for nothing and i am losing time. she didnt had the answer......Anyone who went through this and have any idea how to make them work fast ???

It's currently December, so yes, you're in the right thread :) Congrats btw on the approval!

FINALLY GOT MY NVC CASE NUMBER GUYS!

Every time I try to log in with the case number, it gives an error or something? Maybe I should wait longer for the bill to be generated?

It takes a day or so to be able to log in. Just keep trying ;)

SAYLIN please help..

Ugh. If they review the initial AOS package and close the case, once they get to the second AOS package, they'll re-open the case to review this "new information". So, you may get two case complete dates, hopefully not too far from one another.

I'd suggest you ask for some money back from your lawyer as they're not doing their job properly...

Hey, how do I found out which consulate we will be using? My husband lives in Nova Scotia.

There's only one embassy/consulate in Canada that deals with IR-1/CR-1 immigrant cases and that's Montreal :)
