Payment 1: $88 for the Affidavit of Support fee (I-864 etc) to the NVC

Payment 2: $230 for Immigrant Visa fee (DS-260 etc) to the NVC

All the NVC fees must be paid from a US bank account

Then pay whatever it costs for the medical for your country & panel physician after you have the interview scheduled. Very few countries allow advance scheduling of medicals without interview; most require the letter that you have an interview scheduled by the NVC. The medical fees are paid however the panel physician wants them paid. Generally by the beneficiary in person.

What information is required from Us bank to pay fees online? Is it account number and routing number or there is anything else required to pay the fees online?

Got the checklist. It's to submit the new edition of the I-864 form. I submitted an outdated form. The last time I submitted this form was in March/April! Should have checked for an updated form.....

I am the petitioner.

Guys, just received following email from consulate? So does this mean my wife has to schedule an appointment for fingerprints? And is this new because i haven't heard of it.

Dear Immigrant Visa applicants

Notice to Immigrant Visa Applicants

Effective December 23, 2013, all immigrant visa applicants must complete the DS 260 online immigrant visa application at Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) website, and login to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in to schedule an appointment at Visa Application Center(VAC) for biometric fingerprint and photograph collection prior to their Consulate appointment. Failure to follow these new procedures will significantly delay visa processing.

Please Note: For assistance in any of the above procedures, you may call the numbers below. Please follow the instruction in scheduling your VAC appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to your immigrant visa processing.

If you cannot keep your scheduled visa appointment, please notify this office by email at support-india@ustraveldocs.com. Please note that rescheduled appointments are granted on a space-available basis.

NVC doesn't snail mail anything to you or your spouse if they have both email addresses on file. If they have both email addresses, then they send you all correspondence by email.

The receipt number assigned to your case at USCIS. It's on both the NOA1 and NOA2, as well as the receipt number you use to check the online case status.
