hey saylin what is this? i just copy this when im trying to sign in:

This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.

This can be your answer, Saylin posted it in the FAQ above:

Help! I can't sign into the payment portal. Why?

If you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-3032 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced.

My case is now complete a the NVC and I have the interview date. What happens next? Will I receive further instructions from the consulate? And do we have to schedule the medical exam on our own?

Yes you have to schedule your appointment on your own. 4-7 days before your visa interview.

Is he getting any money from any sources? Or does he have enough saved up?

Time to review posts 1 and 2. There's an exact question/answer on this in the FAQ I put together.

My case is now complete a the NVC and I have the interview date. What happens next? Will I receive further instructions from the consulate? And do we have to schedule the medical exam on our own?

The case will get sent to the consulate. You'll receive no further instructions. You schedule your own exam.

can you tell me when you sent both package the AOS and the IV to the NVC ?

You & I, can you please tell me if you send the DS-261 (replacing the DS-3032) by mail or e-mail? because I can see that you did it in the same day when you received it

The DS-261 is an ONLINE FORM. You don't mail or email it.

ok this waiting on the interview day is not a easy task.. such a busy month we are having and should make the days go fast, and yet end of January feels like so far away.

Saylin, will we need to check any online information or keep an eye on the ceac webpage anymore? Or can we just relax and not worry about any websites now that interview date have been determined.

Also, we never checked on whether NVC have sent out the package out to Embassy- I guess that is one thing we need to make sure of?

No, you don't need to keep an eye on anything now that you have your interview date ready. They typically send the package out the day after the case is assigned an interview. When did you get your interview again?

I looked on the ceac web where form ds 260 was turn and the staus says everything was sent on and for any questions to contact the embassy. I think the interview came in like maybe 2 weeks ago..can't remember but about that long ago- so it should be all fine huh?

Hi, I am not in NVC yet but have a few doubts about the NVC process hopefully someone can clarify. I am the petitioner and my wife is in India.

1. Can the Petitioner send in the IV packet from US? Is there anything in the packet that require Beneficiary signature? Given, that I have her PCC and Birth Certificate and Marriage certificate and she complete/sign DS 260 online, I assume there is nothing else in the packet requiring my wife to send in this package, correct? I am asking because I want to avoid sending in snail mail from India to US if possible.

2. Is there any time validity requirement for the PCC (such as should it be obtained within the last x months to be valid)? I am a September filer and don’t expect to be in NVC process till March the earliest. Can my wife obtain PCC now (in December) and would that be still considered current/valid for NVC process some-time by mid-Jan 2014?

3. My wife has resided in two different states in India after the age of 16 for more than 6 months. Would she need to obtain PCC’s from each places or just one PCC from the current residence suffice?

Is it necessary that it needs to be 4-7 days before the interview? Because my wife's interview is on the 27th of January. I thought the reports are valid for 6 months.??

can you tell me when you sent both package the AOS and the IV to the NVC ?

22nd of November everything was delivered to NVC

No it's not necessary to do it on 4-7 days. you have to do it before interview because they will give you a package to take to the interview
