i just finished getting my NOA2 on december 7th... i am still waiting for my packet. Is there anything i should be doing now? i will have my accountant pull together last 3 months earnings

Time to review posts 1 and 2. Read, read, read! ;)

As far as I'm aware its the the last 3 YEARS earnings in the form of tax returns. Pay stubs are required only for current months.

03/28/14 - CASE COMPLETE with checklist for corrected joint sponsor I-864 to be carried to interview.
04/02/14 - Interview Date assigned, May 13, Mumbai!
04/13/14 - Interview complete...221g given requesting I-864a from co-sponsor's spouse
04/16/14 - FedExed I-864a and evidences to Mumbai.

We got our IV "checklist" yesterday, which showed that everything was acceptable. Since I got a checklist and had to return the I-864, that should be another 20 business days. This can't move fast enough, but, here we are...still waiting. I am hoping there's a chance of a January interview for my hubby!

We got our IV "checklist" yesterday, which showed that everything was acceptable. Since I got a checklist and had to return the I-864, that should be another 20 business days. This can't move fast enough, but, here we are...still waiting. I am hoping there's a chance of a January interview for my hubby!

Just received my case complete email notification from NVC ~ a day shy of 1 month after emailing the AOS and DS-260 supporting documents. [we are doing electronic processing]

And the biggest joy is that we did not get a checklist! dancin5hr.gif

Timeline after visa approval

Immigrant fee paid on ELIS - Jan 24th

POE - Jan 25th

Update on GC and SSN

(as of March 14th, 2014)

ELIS status - Closed (Card produced)

USCIS case check with receipt number (starts with IOE) - Card delivered in the mail

SSN - Received (Went to SSA location to apply for one)

N-400 Naturalization Process

N-400 package mailed in - Nov 7th

Payment posted on cc account - Nov 10th

NOA (hard copy) - Nov 14th

NVC is a part of the DOS.
