congratulations....i am wondering if you got any checklist from the NVC during that waiting time or no ?

Yes I did, I got one for leaving one field blank on the i-864ez. I was following their instructions and that's what I got, a freaking checklist and 30 days delay. My advice is not to leave anything blank, if smth does not apply to you just put N/A

After Sept.1th we have to file DS 260istead of DS 230.

Does somebody filed already online?

Well, obviously, yes, as it's been more than 3 months since everyone's been required to file. And before that, there was about 3 years of eligible countries submitting the forms online.

Anyone with a beneficiary with advanced degree in Science/Eng? My wife is working on her phd in biology. Last time she applied for a visa to US, she was asked to produce a CV/Resume and her visa was kept in AP for a month. Now, when we are submitting documents, I was wondering if it is wise to submit a Resume proactively. I am pretty sure she will go on AP.

What visa did she apply for before?

visiting visa. I did a search of IR1 visa and CV and realized people with similar background were also asked to produce CV at interview and then put on AP.

I've personally never heard of anyone having to submit a resume for a spousal visa. IMO, I think that's a little weird since this isn't an employment visa laughing.gif

There was an occasion where a Canadian couple were immigrating and they needed to sumbit their CVs. But neither were a US citizen and they both worked in pharmaceuticals. I'm not sure it would be needed with a spousal visa.

NLR, I read about the same. I need to think more. In DS-260 there is a question about Skills ( explosive, chemical, biological) , so I believe it is now applicable to immigrant visa too

In ds-260, under work education and training, there is an option to select school (my wife is in school and working currently) but doesn't ask about the details of the study (course or duration). I selected school and added the name.

In the next page it ask about previous employment and Have you attended any educational institutions at a secondary level or above?

Should I include her current school again? It asks for an end date, which we don't have now.
