Hi! we just received our k1 case number days ago, and we don't know what's the next step. whehe And I have few questions here:

Do we still need to wait for some papers before my medical?

What are the requirements for medical?

how many months would it take for me to get my interview?

I know I need to fill up the ds 160, but is there any other forms i need to complete for my interview?

my boyfriend didn't make that much last year because he is just 20 that time, in his tax report on 2012 he just made almost 6 thousand. but this year he made more than 20 already, whT should we do?

Im really praying that we can pass our visa, it's his second time to visit here this year. help me pray guys. thank!

You cannot book your medical until you have the appt letter for your K-1 interview at the Consulate

What are the requirements for medical?

Since you are in the Philippines here is SLEC's website to let you know what you need for the medical: http://www.slec.ph/# and after you go to the website at the very top it says "US IMMIGRANT APPLICANTS" and there are links to all that you will need for the medical

how many months would it take for me to get my interview?

It depends on how backed up the Manila Consulate is, I would go to the Philippines forum to get this information as it is Country specific

I know I need to fill up the ds 160, but is there any other forms i need to complete for my interview?

Once the Consulate receives your petition they will send either by mail or email a notice(Packet 3) letting you know what forms you need to fill out and how to send them. Again Philippines Regional forum would be best able to help. You go to the top of the page, click Portals and select "Philippines"

my boyfriend didn't make that much last year because he is just 20 that time, in his tax report on 2012 he just made almost 6 thousand. but this year he made more than 20 already, whT should we do?

Again I would go to the Philippines portal as it is hard to say whether the Philippines Consulate accepts co-sponsors or not

Im really praying that we can pass our visa, it's his second time to visit here this year. help me pray guys. thank!

Will do. God bless you on the rest of your journey.

Thank you so much for the reply! Can i book my appointment soon? Can i change my schedule if there's any delay on our papers?

another thing sir, In my ds 2019 and passport visa it states both that i am not subject to 2 year home rule but i heard that I am still subject to this section. is that true sir? I went home last february 2013.

You cannot book your Interview at the Consulate or your medical until you receive Packet 4 which the Consulate will send either by mail or email.

I am not sure on this one as I have never been on a student or exchange visa to the USA. If someone who has been through this could pls chime in.

Also OP if you could scan the docs and black out any personal info so that we can see the docs and maybe give you some better advice that would be great.

Thanks so much! very much appreciated sir!
