Had my interview this morning also. Great idea sheva29! I would definitely contribute to this thread.

Hello everybody,

Good luck to you "simple35". Just post here pls if you have any news….

i just recieved exactly the same letter..We initially filed on August 28th. On January 6th we received a notice from the office in California saying that my petition has been relocated to the USCIS local office for adjudication, and that the office will schedule an interview for me.We never received a RFE letter during this process. And I should bring any additional evidence that I can.

Hello everyone-

I had my interview yesterday. I arrived half hour early. Interview was at 845 I was called around 9. A person who looked like an army officer called out for my name. I said hi with a smile but he didnt seem to smile back. I figured this is going to be a strict person.

After he took oath from me, he asked for my passport my expired green card and my drivers license. I had two briefcases plus a small bag full of paperwork that I could think to bring with me.

Then he asked to look at my old passport, I gave him all the passports since I was 18. He looked at all of them carefully. He then asked he for my name address then my exwifes name. Then he said what happened. I explained to him what had happened basically my wife and I didnt live together in the beginning of our marriage because of her work. However we would talk on the phone and visit each other regularly. After she had moved in with me is when she thought she wasnt ready for marriage. Leaving her job her family behind for arranged marriage wasnt her cup of tea. He understood since she was very young when she came to US and he figured she wasnt a traditional girl, he smiled couple of times.

He said my green card would come in about a month.. I was surprised the interview lasted for about 15 -20 mins and majority of his time was spent on him stamping my passport since I told him I have travel plans.

Sheva29-

How long after the interview did the status on website get updated to approved status. My status online still shows initial review.

It took about a week and a half. After that it showed that production had started and a week after that, the card was shipped right away and it took like 3 days. I got it like a week ago.

Congratulations on your interview!!!

Hi everybody! it's my first time writing on this site. i have the same situation. Sent the jointly filled ROC package on June 1st 2013, on October 8 received a letter that ROC was transferred from Vermont to California. Without any RFE letter on Jan 26, 2014 i received this :

"This letter is in reference to your form I-751, petition to remove the condition on residence. This is to notify you that your petition has been relocated to the USCIS Field Office listed below for adjudication. That office will schedule an interview for you. When an interview date becomes available, that office will notify you in a separate notice of the date and time you will need to appear for an interview.

When you appear for the interview you must bring this notice and your appointment notice, along with evidence to establish that the marriage through which you gained your conditional residence status was entered into good faith. This evidence may include but is not limited to, joint bank accounts, joint leases, joint mortgage, insurance policies, canceled checks, joint bills, children's birth certificates, income tax returns, wills, affidavits, photos, etc. "

My lawyers said that it can be just a routine, that some cases are sent to interview.

Today i received the interview letter:

"Please come to the office shown bellow at the time and place indicated in connection with an official matter

OFFICE LOCATION ……………………………….

Date and time Wednesday April 02,2014 @ 11:30 AM

Reason for appointment I-751

Please bring all of the following items copies with you to the interview that apply to your case

- All passports and CIS issued documents

- Current letter of employment for you and / or your spouse showing rate of pay and hours per week

- Your spouse must attend interview

- Please bring originals and copies of the following: lease, rental, mortgage agreements, bank statements, insurance documents, utility bills, and income tax returns for the last two years.

- This interview may be video taped and included in your service records. "

Please let me know if your letters looks like this too and how was interview if you went to an interview?

I had interview yesterday. My interview was at 9 am, in Los angeles dowtown office. We arrive about 8 am. We where greed by very nice latin lady.

She let us in ask to sworn and start questioning… where you met? how you met? and few more questions, after that she asked my husband to leave the room , while we will be interview separately…so he left… and started ask a lot of questions, I stayed inside probably about 1 hour… but it didn't seem ruff… it look like more like conversation rather interview… we lough…I told all the story about our marriage… and she said she had enough, and don't want to see my husband anymore… but still have to review papers that I gave her during interview… and suppose to receive decision faster than in 1 month…

by the way… main reason why we where called for interview - because I really didn't send enough supporting papers regarding bonofide marriage. that is what she said…
