Hello All,

I am new to this forum.

I am an Afghan Special Immigrant Visa applicant.

I am going to have my interview on December 15th, 2013.

I filled the form ds-260 and provided no US adress. I was advised it is needed for USCIS so my Greencard will be sent to that address. More importanty, providing an address will fasten the resetlement process for SIV applicants.

My questions are:

1. Would i be able to provide an address before my interview to the US Embassy in Kabul for the Form DS-260?

2. Can i provide the address to the consulate officer during my interview?

3. What if i provide the address after interview?

Looking forward to your advices :)

Sincerely

Hello JosyGold

I can only share with you how i did.

First, i received a checklist asking me to send civil documents. The checklist named the civil docs i needed to send to them and gave me NVC email.

I do not know what program do you use, as mine is Special Immigrant Visa. However, it depends to your program, if you live inside the U.S.A, you can mail them, otherwise, fill them, sign them and then send a PDF copy to NVC.

However, remember to keep the original files as you have to have them during your interview.

Sincerely

Mosa
