Deheels or anybody else, does the beneficiary needs to bring petitioner's copy of birth certificate to the interview???

It wasn't on the p4 list just being curious

Dzenilh, I checked and they said (at the consulate) No need, but I am having 2 copies with me to the interview, just in case...we never know. Better be ready for anything.

And then to my question for everyone:

may i ask, do we need to print the whole DS260; 6 or so pages of Personal informartion, etc--OOORRRR do we just need to print the one-page Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application Confirmation? How many copies are needed, do you think? Thank you for your response!

As per the list my wife got only DS 260 confirmation page is required.

No its not required. Some bring it. I guess if you have it okay but I wouldn't worry about it.

Got off the phone with NVC & they confirmed my case is completed and even told me the date of my interview in Montreal, Canada - 13 Feb 2014. Feel free to add me to your list. Thanks for maintaining this thread. Cheers.

Hi friends congrats to all. I have a question, I am with my husband ( US citizen) in my country waiting for interview. If my husband send an email to the us embassy asking to be with me at the interview is any possibility they accept ? Do you think is a better idea? He is here only to suport me with NVC step and now with interview. Any suggest will help us a lot! ?

Yes you can email the embassy to ask if you can attend interview with your husband. That what my husband did and he got a email back saying that I was added to access list so I could attend with him.

Confirmation receipt of what? If you mean the Visa process you wouldn't be sitting at the embassy if you didn't pay. Just bring evidence if you want of showing a bonafide relationship that wasn't sent in if you want. More evidence more pics like I said before this is the time you can bring everything and anyhow you want (just be organize). I know like Lagos they love pictures the more the merrier. So just be prepared and organized calm cool and confident we will be all celebrating with you soonish.

Now everyone be safe and have a great start to a new year and your hunnies will be home soon. Just think you are now days away from forever. Is that awesome or what!! I tear up just thinking of it.

If I could throw confetti and run to all the POE's and welcome you all I sure would but just know my heartfelt love and devotion to helping and serving you is my pleasure. mmwah
