I'm in a bit of a mental struggle, a position with a subsidiary of my current employer just opened up but it's in Dublin Ireland. It would make my wife extremely happy and is a good professional opportunity for me.

I will still apply for the job but I will have to tell them that I won't be available until my Removal Of Conditions process is approved. This may take me out of the race but based on some limited research I don't want to risk going through immigration from scratch again.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

hi

but you are still a LPR who has to reside in the US, if you plan to move to Dublin, you will loose your GC.

is it for less than 6 months or do you plan to move there?

or you get a reentry permit, but anyway, at some point you have to live in the US

so is it a permanent move to Ireland or for how long?
