hi guys,

so my visa got approved last nov 27, 2013. i submitted my fiancee 2012 1040 and w2. on her 1040, her income was only 15,350US$ yet we were approved. though my fiancee is working now since septemebr and has 30k current income. my question is, during my aos, will i be needing a co sponsor ? thanks

Current income is most important and since she is making enough to meet the requirement now for AOS, which is 125% of the poverty level, she may not be asked to provide a joint sponsor. This is will be entirely up to the adjudicator looking at your case file though. She needs to provide a letter from her employer and most recent pay stubs to prove her current income though. Do not just send the most recent IRS tax transcript and expect them to know she now makes enough.
