Good day!

sorry if i have made another thread for this. but there's a lot of thread in I-864 and don't know where to put this one.

I am the petitioner. Here's the heads up. i came here last 2011DEC as an LPR. I am petitioning my spouse (F2A) and i don't have an 2012-ITR since i don't have a job because i dedicated myself in attending my new born. 2013FEB-2013JULY went home to my country for my son and his dad's first meeting. then just this 2013OCT i finally got a seasonal job.

i have read some from this forum that i have to fill up I-864 eventhough i don't have ITR but i just have to explain myself why i don't file for I-864.

Here's the question:

1. My mom and dad is my co-sponsor. Do i let them also write I-864?

2. Do i need a separate I-864 sheets for my mom and dad? or do i need 2 copies for PART 6 (sponsors contract) for my 2 co-sponsor?

3. What document shall i ask for my current employer that i am their employee?

Thank you so much :)) Happy Thanksgiving :))

hi

you file an i864 as sponsor, all sponsors must file the i864 as the main sponsor, even if you have $0 income. in yours will be you, your child and your husband. you have to include your family

one of your parents will file another i864 as your joint sponsor, and the spouse will file an i864A as household member. they will combine their incomes it is a contract between your parents.
