I am going my country to visit my wife next month.

Visa Office close to us.

How about if I apply for tourist visa for my wife to come here and stay with me

Until I-130 get approved.

My mom is sick too and she needs my wife to take care here.

Give me advice please.

If they reject my wife visa??

Is their any negative effect on my I-130??

What strong ties does your wife have to return to in India. Job, kids, business. You saying I need my wife here to take care of mom and help me with business doesn't sound to promising she will return. Whats does she have to return to in India if she leaves?

These are all questions immigration will have when looking at your application.

But no no negative effect on your I-130 petition.

It's worth a try but don't get your hopes up. Since you have I-130 filed, its a very slim chance that they will approve your wife's tourist visa but doesn't hurt to try.

You don't apply; she does. She will be denied as the wife of a U S citizen with a pending petition.

She will be denied 100% since there is a pending I-130 and she is the beneficiary.

In the remote slime chance she gets the visa and she makes it to a port of entry, she will not be allowed to enter the USA and will be sent home.

Remember, custom agents can see all the files at the port of entry and they will know about the pending I-130.

My advise: don't waste your time and money and just wait for the I-130 to be processes.

Good luck

Yes. She will apply.

But I am going to put Sponcer letter from for her.

That will not help. She has immigrant intent, and will be refused.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

When you add that sponsor letter idea I can see you do understand.

There will be no reason to attempt to lie because they have all the info you have and will give them.

She will just have to know how to offset the entire concept of her long term plan of record which is to immigrate to the USA asap.

She will find the interview for the tourist visa to be short but informative.
