Filling out I-129F

Hi everybody and Happy Thanksgiving,

We are now in the process of filling out I-129F. I have a question. For questions that is not applicable to us, like name of prior spouse (my fiancee is single), are we going to leave that part blank or write down "None."

dont leave it blank put none...dont leave anything to get a rfe...if it is not none put n/a...

Yes I did. Look at this sample form below.

It leaves those parts in blank Im really confused. Should I leave them blank or put None?

You can follow an old example form or the instructions from USCIS.

And instructions from USCIS says that ''If an item is not applicable or the answer is none, leave the space blank.''

That's why I think I should leave the answer to the questions that are not applicable to me as blank.

(I just realised that your comment above was showing the updated form and I'd totally misread you as having seen an example that WASN'T blanks. My apologies! My question as to whether you'd read the instructions was actually to the other poster who was giving bad advice)

Oh i forgot that they have a new form...i havent seen tne new form...its up to her to leave it blank but i dont think putting none would be a problem.

HI there, well when we filled ours in January 2013 we had to put N/A or none which were on the instructions......which may have changed since the new forms came out.
