Urgent - Need to speak to US consulate in Montreal

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know a way of connecting with the Montreal consulate for an urgent expedite matter? We have tried the email route and have no response so far. Also called the numbers we found online and apparently they have no way of dealing with situations outside the normal scheduling system.

Any help would be great.....

Your timeline shows that you have received your visa and have entered the US. So, what would be this urgent expedite matter?

Your case is now completed at the DoS and any question/issue/correspondence should be directed to USCIS, which might be the reason you are not getting any response from the Consulate.

Try contacting USCIS and see if they are able to help with your matter.

On Thanksgiving? Consulates/embassies are closed today. Try tomorrow.

if it is truly an urgent matter and knowing how difficult it is to communicate them...I would get the USA citizen to contact their congress person and have them contact MTL as they usually have better avenues. But they will be closed today due to an American holiday! Embassies/consulates are closed on all USA holidays..and holidays of that local country

The expedite is for my daughter (2.5 years old). I like the congressman idea, as it's probably one of the only avenues we have not tried. What are the chances of him acting quickly though?

What are the chance if you don't contact him--slim, so why not try and contact him...and of course it has to be a valid reason for MTL to expedite.....if its something medically one pro should have a Dr's note to back up your story
