Hello everyone!

I would like to ask three questions and I will appreciate it a lot if you can answer them to the most of your ability or knowledge. Thanks ahead!

1. Our CR1 Application was transfered in Texas Service Center last November 25. A notice came for my husband saying our case was transfered in Texas etch.etch,, Right now our status says a notice was generated regarding our I130 petition and that we will be updated until this notice is mailed, through checking thier USCIS website. Do you know what kind of notice was it? And how long does it take to arrive?

(By the way, have you ever tried checking your status in USCIS and it says Post Decision Activity, and then you were so surprised that you think its too good to be true so you clicked it again, entered you case number, and the 2nd time you checked it, it came back to initial review?? I swear it happened. I even printed it and saved it in my comptuer. Geez, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I just thought maybe their site got wild during that time. Anyway it was after that time when it said our case was transfered. Maybe it has something to do with the transfering stuff? Anyway, I just want to know if you've expereinced the same thing before.)

2. My second question is how do you request for an expedit processing? The thing is I'm a Filipina, and I read a news just now, posted by the USCIS last Nov15 that says Expedited processing of immigrant petitions for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (LPRs) for those Filipinos who were affected by the Typhoon Haiyan. How am I going to avail with that benefit? Is it automatic? My husband and I are waiting for 4 months now. It's not really that long yet but if you're given this chance or benefit of expediting the service why not grab the opportunity right? I'd like to hear your comments.

3. I'd also like to ask if its okay that my NBI (Police) Clearance and my Passport has my married name and not my maiden name? Because our I130 petition was under my maiden name and I thought I might have a conflict with that or something? Please let me hear your thoughts.

Thank you VJ people! I hope you guys can share what you know or any idea will do too.

Hello Krispykreme!

Thanks for answering some of my questions. I'm really happy that this "expedite" thing sounds like a really good news. I hope yours will be transfered too soonest :D

Yes my NBI has my maiden name and my married name on it. Everything will be fine then I supposed? :)
