NVC give us case number, we paid the AOS and IV bill already. Husband USC and Im in Mexico, this process is through consular process.

The attorney sent the I-864EZ and civil documents on october 21st 2013 for the first time. Just receive an automated response. My husband called to NVC a month later (last week) to check on the case and they told him they still doesnt have any document received.

WE talk with our attorney, she said this never happened before with her, so she send them again on november 19th 2013.

I called, one week after (yesterday) and they keep telling me they dont have any document yet. The guy who I talked to (KEVIN) told me that I should send them again. Its it a joke?

I saw the email where the attorney sent the files, i saw the automated response that she received.

Im not sure if this is normal, and before pull one by one all of my hair I want to know if im missing any part of this process or if there is any information that i lost.

Thanks.

does your casefile number start with MEP or CDJ?

If MEP - you and your husband can email stuff in.

Regardless, since the IV Fee bill is already paid, you should get on ceac.state.gov and submit a DS-260 online, today.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

It's starts with MEP.

We already email them what they asked, the I-864EZ and the civil documents twice, first in October 21 and second time in November 19. My attorney did it and we receive that day the automated response that they got it.

OK - some triage for your USCitizen spouse to do, with NVC, via telephone:

1. call into NVC, ask for a Supervisor.

2. once you have a supervisor, remind the supervisor that yer an electronic processing casefile type, and then

3. ask the supervisor to ask the guy handling the email queue to review the email queue, and actually look for the emails with the file attachments , then, if found,

4. ask the supervisor to get the files detached and added to the casefile.

IMO, something has burped. Getting a supervisor involved, at this point, is best.

fwiw, Coversheet not required for EP casefiles.

list of stuff? Sure - I'm in a good mood, and can write a bit wink.png

AOS/I-864 -

--I-864 form

--tax documents for prior tax years

--proof of current annual income for 2013 , could be

---employment letter from the company or

---last 3 paystubs or

---if self-employed, quarterly income/loss statement from a CPA

IV/DS-260

-civil documents:

--marriage certificate

--birth certificate

--bio page of passport

--police clearance certificate

--prior divorce documents on the beneficiary, if any

i used some pdf tool to put headers or footers in each page of each pdf file, identifying the casefile, her name, her DOB. Sure, was a bit of work, but we not get dinged for the IV set at all.

optional - evidence of bonafide marriage stuff, listed in the I-130 instructions - there are 6 types, so if you have generated more since submitting the I-130, sling in with the IV set, clearly labelled.

in the subject line -

AOS/MEP20135332210 RODRIGUEZ, Slyvia Q DOB 11 NOV 1955

or

IV/MEP20135332210 RODRIGUEZ, Slyvia Q DOB 11 NOV 1955

then in the body:

MEP Casefile #

Beneficiary Name

Beneficiary DOB

Petitioner Name

Petitioner DOB

then a brief description of what's in the attachments.
