Thank you for the reply. Now, I have a question in regards to the biometrics. When they send you the biometrics letter do they tell you where you are supposed to take your figerprints or how is that working? Also, do your biometrics paperwork leave from you or from whatever office you have done them at?

Thank you

PS. Also, to be sure NOA is the I797, right?

Yes, the NOA (Notice of Action) is the I-797.

You will get a Biometrics appointment letter telling you the date and time that you should go to your local office. The letter will also tell you the address of the local office. They do your fingerprints, take your picture and get your signature.

Hi raymaga

I am wonder. I was filing I751 to Nebraska Ctr since June and only get a NOA for greencard extension but not the biometrics. I'm also living around Seattle area. My question is when you first do the Biometrics for condition green card (2 years), Was it digital scan? I'm totally surprise people who file after me get a biometric. Some get the NOA for interview or approval.

Hello Nancy, I’m also in the Seattle area.. Wonderful black out we just had: angry: .. Anyway, My wife had her biometrics scheduled for the 12.14.06 but missed that date and got it done yesterday 12.20.06 I'm not sure why you didn't receive a letter for your biometrics? I think my wife originally didn't have digital pictures or finger prints if I'm not mistaken.. (2 years ago) but, she did have them digitally done this time around... Did you have digital finger printing and picture taken done in the past?

Hi Xbox,

Belived it or not but we saved from the black out last week  . Our house was a shelter for lots of friends. Anyway, I just received my 10 years GC in the mail this evening and yes, I did have digital finger printing done for my conditional GC (2 years ago). I guess that's why I don't received the NOA for biometrics again :) .
