Here is a helpful hint for those of you visiting the US Embassy for your interviews:

BE PREPARED!

When the interviewer asks you for a particular document or proof, have everything at your fingertips and be able to pull it immediately. They don't like having to wait for your to scramble through your stacks of things looking for what they are asking for. It makes the embassy officer annoyed. Get a file folder like the one below and have everything you need at your fingertips. Better to bring too much than too little.

You can also have great little photo-books made by your fiancee and shipped to you ... the embassy officers love those!! They have dates and locations already under each picture. Shutterfly.com makes them the best:

These are great suggestions. I might add that the Filipino CO likes to have his documents in a certain way and then also the American CO like their documents a certain way. Now these are only the documents that you see requested on the website. Now they can ask for additional proof, so be organized to cut down on your time. We watch a lady fumble through her paperwork trying to get the documents for the Filipino CO and her time with him last near 30 min (You could see that he was getting irritated) as ours was less than 8 min in front of the Filipino CO.

A little caution, make sure the Filipino CO gets all the documents for your financials and make sure he takes your passport. Ours did not and when we returned to our seat to wait for the AM CO, we see we still have some of the financials and our passports. Up we went to meet with him once again and to inquire about those items. He laughed and took the additional financials (without them we were under the poverty level).

Good luck
