So we had our interview yesterday in Boston. Waiting room was packed. We were called about 30 minutes after our scheduled time, which isn't that bad.

All the standard questions asked. Made some copies of bills showing both our names, and quickly looked at our photos (we had about 20).

In the end, we were approved. No mention that my wife still had to go through checks, and we were told about the removal of conditions, etc. No stamp, officer said 2-3 weeks for the card. She printed out a letter stating our approval, and the letter also reminds us of the need to remove conditions. Did anyone else receive this at the interview? If not, is this the "approval letter" that is normally mailed out after the interview?

My wife adjusted from F-1 student visa.

We were surprised by how quickly this was processed...lately it seems from the timelines on here that the USCIS has been turning these around in 3 months or so.
