Hi VJ

I submitted my DS 260 electronically on October 28,2013. Emailed NVC all of the required documentations. Finally, husband posted the hard copy of the same documents and was received as per tracking history on November 1, 2013.

My husband made few calls to the NVC and he was told that our file hasn't been opened yet and that we need to wait for 30 business days. It says in CEAC website that processing time takes 2-4 weeks and obviously were nearing past a month already and nothing has been heard from them yet.

Aside from waiting,,,,could you please let us know if this is the actual timeline with NVC.

We appreciate all comments.

God bless and bet regards.

The amount of time can and most of the time will vary depending on the NVC workload. Since you have been told 30 business days, you might want to call on the 31st business day if you have not heard anything.

Best of luck!
