wow that was quick..i cant understand why some get AOS approved soo quick while others, including ours filed last May, are still waiting and nobody knows when to get the approval although we got potential waiver interview..i believe that the requirements of I-693 depends on which state you filed your aos...even if I have all those required vaccines and medical from st. lukes still they required us to get civil surgeon...I don't know why it seems that there's no uniformity...

anyway, congratulations..

Joan received a varicella vaccine (date listed) and a check in the insufficient time frame box for the follow up shot. Was any box checked for you? I *think* the varicella vaccine can be waived if there is evidence that she had chickenpox before.

Oops, I didn't mean varicella. She received that and got a check for that. I meant rotavirus.

There was no checkmark on her form DS-3025 for rotavirus. I heard this is pretty common for SLEC to do. Did you get a check on your DS-3025 for rotavirus?

Thanks everyone! We are looking forward to two years "off" from this process! VJ has been an awesome resource over the past 18 months! Salamat!

Congratulations!!! .....cant wait to get our "2-year off phase" too... whenever we see people getting their AOS approved, it makes the wait less crazy for us...... again congrats!

Sometimes the interview waiver is not a great thing because I have read that it takes longer than going through the interview. The AOS time frame really depends on the local office. The civil surgeon thing would not (should not?) vary from state to state because it is a federal guideline, BUT the extent to which your examiner understands the difference between K-visas and others can certainly vary from person to person. That is why we included the specific instructions from the USCIS website in our packet.

Good luck to you...
