Hi,

Try NobleCom...We use it to phone the UK, at .2 cents a minute. The cards are worldwide, although rates vary. Still, it was the best price I saw after shopping for the last 2 years. It saved us A LOT of money when we were apart. He had one and I had one-$20.00/per month was our average re-charge for each card.

We spoke daily, for nearly an hour a day...

In actuality, you may get 12-14 min out of a $5.00 card. Often, you don't even get a connection and they charge you anyways. Every time you try again after a failed attempt to make a call, your balance vanishes. We haven't used this poor excuse for a phone card in months. And these suckers make it their "featured card"? Bastards! Those phone card sites all suck!

If I can get a connection with this card, it is a great card. Calling a mobile in Morocco, i wasted more minutes trying to get a connection. Best for Morocco for me has been African Choice. But I am going to try one of these from Chris' link.

I've been googling trying to find a replacement for the service I'd been using.. While the rate was great .119 per min to a Moldova Cell the service sucked.. and even to the point I couldn't use it..So I found this in my 2-3 day quest to find a replacement.. I found it yesterday but I wanted to wait until I tried it to post the info on it.. Why I wanted to wait was because of the rate to Moldova was the best rate by 100% less then the others I found.. it was .0216 per min. that's 465min for $10 or 930 min. for $20 my avg. calls per month is 1150 min.. so my cost just dropped from avg. $150 a month to about $25 .. Even the cell rate was well below my other co. at .0617 per min.. Now they have a weird way of displaying the min's they take it out to the last digits.. kind of threw me off at first... so instead of saying 500 min. they say 4996 but if you do the math at the cost per min. you'll see what they did..

Well any long story short ..I'm saving $125 per month in my calls.. I hope this helps some of you to keep in touch with your love ones more...

Do these cards use 1 or 3 minute rounding? Also, is there a monthly service fee?

I am in search of a new card for Indonesia, as the one I used before has cancelled their agreement with the Indonesian carriers. Darn, and it was a reliable and cheap card too. 13 cents per minute to cellular.

Most other cards I have tried have a catch, in that they charge monthly service or 3 minute rounding. They also had unreliable connections.

Any advice is appreciated.

Watch those per call fee and service fee's

I bought a card for Moldova .029 per min.... Yes fantastic deal.. gave me 465 min for $10.00

I call twice a day about 10 min. one call and 30min another call..

this card didn't have a per call fee but had a service fee... of 15% of amount left.

For the way I call my per min avg.. went from .029 to about .092 per min..

Or my card went from 465 min to 108.89 min card.. for $10..

So watch the service fees... unless you talk for hours each time... then it would be better... but for the multi-caller like me...You need to find a card without a service fee

Try my link at the end of my Signature... Check their rates.. What I like about them is they bill you once a month.. And to Moldova it's .119 per min after taxes .13 which is still very cheap , No other fee's ..

I did have trouble with them after that sun flare a couple of weeks ago...but it's working great again..

No pin either... You dial a 800 number.. and then your SO's number.. nice and simple

Really, I've used them for six months for Korea and Susie uses the same card for the PI with no problems. I've only had to call them once about a pin number but they were pretty helpful. Perhaps it isn't the card.

Well I wouldn't do it if it was a bad deal.. I feel everybody here is a friend... .. plus whatever change I make I just use it to buy that new Porsche hhaahha So far I can buy a Big Mac LOL

But i will say I don't normal use cards.. I mainly use the service that is linked in my signature.. I went card hunting a few weeks ago when that service had a problem from that solor flare/burst... but it's back up and running at 100%..

I stand corrected, the Boss cards from Uniontelecard work quite well.

I have learned that the troubles I experienced with the card, were attributed to the Taiwan earthquake.

To that end, Southeast Asia is back to 70% capacity. With that progress, we are consistently getting through, with a very clear connection.

Thanks for the calling card tip and I apologize for talking smack about the Boss from Uniontelecard.
