Sorry man, you're not a stranger to the traffic logjam in naija and if you could come two days before your interview you should have gone to the embassy two hours before your interview time. Lagos doesn't give a hoot if you feel happy or you can't take out time from your busy work schedule to keep an appointment. Its all up to you, moreover Nigeria is not where you can't secure express leave from work. Your lackluster attitude has given you this problem, later you will be looking for one witch or wizard in the village that is worrying you or one pastor to pray for you when indeed you're the architect of your own wahala. My guy you f**ked up big time bruv,if I were you I would even tip the Nigerian security @ the embassy gate,as least these are your fellow brothers even if they're wearing uniforms. If you can't relate with your fellow naija man,how you wan come take run things with the oyibo wey wan interview you? You dull, oya come collect bulala 4 your yanshgoofy.gif

We left 2 hours to get from one bit of London to the other and it took us about 40 minutes, so we were very early. Luckily we did, as I had to mess around with Embassy security for nearly an hour to let my fiance in, even after the Embassy had e-mailed me saying he'd be on the access list. You always have to plan to leave a lot of time for something this important, even if it seems close by and nothing could go wrong.

You need to back to the embassy and plead with them, do not leave until they either give you another date that is very soon or see you. Stay there until you speak with someone. My fiancé was late to his interview yesterday 11/25 and after reading online and talking to some friends I made him stay and plead. He got in line several times after only to be thrown out twice. But after a while the security guard told him to wait under he tree. He waited and was let in and got approved for his visa. Stay and plead, don't be rude, tell them you already have wedding plans. Don't leave and please don't wait for an email response. If I were you I would go back up there and just plead until they see you.

Hey guys !!!!!! God has done it for me. !!!! Got approved today. Lol. After I came back from the embassy yesterday I knelt down and cried to God.I fell asleep while praying still with my suit on and the songs of praises in my phone was on. I call woke me around 1.47pm and this mail voice told me that he just saw the email of rescheduling that we sent and he was touched. He asked me to come for an interview today and he sent me an email to confirm my appoinment for today. Got there today around 5am for a 7am interview. Just like a movie , I got approved. Who said there is no GOD?

rofl.gif Lagos the land of the overly dramatic Reminds me of the man that was waving about his soiled bed sheets as "proof of a valid marriage" glad it worked.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I am so happy for you...i was just reading these threads my the vjers and though true...they were very harsh....i am pretty sure you were already beating your self up as would your fiance...but we have to remember we are human and some times make bad judgement calls...but we should some times try to up lift each other rather than rub salt into ones wound...god is great and you are truly blessed and highly favoured...what are the odds that your email was received so quickly ...best of luck
