USCIS Hitting the News for Massive Delays

I love that one comment saying legal immigration should be delayed by 10 years due to the recession. There are always people out there who sleep better when people are suffering.

To make matters worst... I noticed that there was 9 thumbs up approving his comment and only 1 thumb down.

I feel so bad for all the I-130 people, you have been wronged in so many ways!

For future applicants who read this thread, to come to the USA.,,,.,.,PLEASE go by the K-1 visa route, even though it took us 10 months, but delayed nearly 3 months by """Sputum Farce"""""".,.,it seems I-130..,.is so un-fair, and delayed, for no reasons.,.,.,

I know my (now wife) would rather be married in front of her family in the Philippines, we did the smart thing, and did the K-1, we will go there and have another ceremony for her family!

THERE are always sacrifices in these procedures, to come to the USA! I pray for all of my suffering VJ'ers who are still waiting, to be re-united with there loved ones!

I had the option of not leaving the US and just doing an AOS but noooooo I told myself I have to do it 100% legit. Only to find out that people who do things legally and legitimately suffer more than those who do things illegally.

When I started this process, as a foreigner I thought that Obama's lot were a lot better than the republicans and that the country was at least in the hands of a government that cared more about it's people. Oh how wrong I was! Obama apparently only cares about those who made it to the country illegally, if you try to do things the proper way you will be held up while they process hundreds of thousands of DACA applicants who didn't even pay in front of you. Citizens and their families are apparently second class. I feel like we need to do our best to get this out there on the news because I'm sure people would be appalled by this if only they knew.

Obama apparently only cares about those who made it to the country illegally, if you try to do things the proper way you will be held up while they process hundreds of thousands of DACA applicants who didn't even pay in front of you. Although I obviously disagree with the executive decision, I blame the republicans equally for constantly limiting government spending and therefore making it difficult to add the necessary personnel to handle the increased workload at USCIS.

Regardless of the man in the White House, they only care about power and more votes, which illegal immigration and the DACA enables. It's all about power, absolute power. The hurting U.S. Citizen matters not when compared to the millions of potential votes they can get.

USCIS is self funded, so Congress' willingness to spend more or less doesn't have a direct impact on them and thereby doesn't really impact the processing of I-130s. How they allocate the funds is largely up to the Executive branch, which all comes down to the President regardless of the party in charge.

Even if that weren't the case, I blame both parties. It's not a matter of limiting government spending or not taking in enough money - the Federal government brings in almost $4 trillion per year to the Treasury. It's a problem of properly allocating that money amongst the most correct and needed departments and agencies. The government has enough money both from taxpayers and bond holders, they just don't spend it wisely, as most governments don't do.
