F2A interview at Mumbai Consulate - Approved

Hello friends,

I am very happy to inform you all that my wife's F2A interview has been approved at Mumbai Consulate last week. It was a smooth sail. We prepared all the documents and proofs of our relationship but they didn't check any documents or pictures. They just asked basic questions about us, our marriage and relationship and approved her visa and said that she would be receiving her passport in 10 days. Her PD: Jan 27, 2012.

It's nearly 2 years since we have applied for I-130. Thank god for the smooth result.

I also thank all the VJ'ers who have been very supportive and helpful when needed during this journey. This is a great place to get answers and information to any questions.

Congrats Yes2A. Were you there for the interview as well or did you wife alone attend the interview?

1) when did you send your AOS and IV documents and how long did it take to get case complete?

2) Since CC how long did it take to schedule an interview?

Contrary to the general expectation, my wife said that the interviewer was very cordial and friendly. So folks, just relax and attend the interviews.

Thank You! I was not allowed inside so she was alone during the interview.

1) It almost took 30-40 days for the case completion as we got a AOS checklist.

2) Don't remember exactly but i think it was after 2 weeks after the case completion.
