It was "impossible" to get an approval according to many VJ members, lawyers, and others because we didn't meet within the two years immediately prior to the initial I-129F form. Well, we got RFE, I replied with my explanation and some documents to proof the situation I was living raising our newborn , and they APPROVED US!

I really thanks God for this approval and USCIS for understanding.

1/20/2011 - Wendy left to Guatemala. our son stayed with me.

5/07/2013 - I-129F sent.
5/10/2013 - NOA1 received
8/22/2013 to 8/29/2013 - Visit for one week. Christopher stayed with mom.
10/24/2013 - RFE
11/25/2013 - NOA2 Approved!

01/31/2014 - INTERVIEW: Officer said everything was good, but gave us a 221g to submit a co-sponsor with form I-864

2/12/2014 - Was told to file Waivers

5/21/2014 - Waivers I-601 and I-212 filed

12/19/2014 - Waivers Approved

01/26/2015 - K1 VISA ON HAND!!!!!!

God is powerfull, my fiance only sent the form i-129f and the check nothing else, everybody told that we would be denied and start the process again, but the sent my fiance a rfe asking for everythings he didnt send , he sent all inmediatelly and we were approved, now i am waiting my interview date here in DR.

God is the only one that knows how the things are going to be

Congratulations. Be prepared, though, to go through the same need to explain to the consulate as well, as someone else on here got an i-129f approved despite not meeting within 2 years but got denied at the interview.

21 November 2013 - Recieved Text and E-mail with Case Number NOA1

25 November 2013 - Received NOA1 Hardcopy in Mail

25 November 2013 - Alien Registration Number Changed

14 January 2014 - NOA2 (54 days after NOA1)

17 January 2014 - USCIS Shipped to NVC

29th January 2014 - NVC Recieved and assigned Case #

4th February 2014 - Abu Dhabi Embassy Recieved our case and the status is now "READY" for interview

24th September 2014 - Interview date - FINGERS CROSSED!
