Well, I got my EAD in the mail on Tuesday, and had my interview on Thursday. The interview went really smoothly and I walked out with a stamp in my passport. Made the EAD basically pointless but I was thinking it would take a lot longer to get to the interview point. Thankfully we made it to and from Portland, OR before the worst of the weather hit. I know we were without power for a few hours that night because of the weather and we weren't in the worst of the storm track.

Anyways, we're on Christmas vacation now visiting my family and then his for the next couple weeks so at least I won't be sitting at the mailbox waiting for my card to come. I'm glad the stress of it all is over for a bit anyways, and quite pleasantly surprised with the time frame. I know so many of you are still waiting basically in limbo... I really feel for you and I hope things speed up for you all.

12/18/06 - Touched: I-130/EAD (Day 14)/ Received Biometrics Letter
