Copies of I-129F

How many of you have been asked to show copies of I-129F during interview or before/after that?

My man was afraid to tell me that copies of the I-129F that he made was terribly messed up when the interior of his car was flooded a month ago in VA (he left the copies inside the car....). Well he finally did anyways and I told him that we prolly won't need em anyways cuz this is what the embassy told me to prepare :

Please note that when applicants arrive at the Embassy for their scheduled interviews, the documents applicable to their cases must be pre-arranged in the following order:

Passport

Birth Certificate(s)

Name Change Certificate (if applicable)

Marriage Certificate (if applicable)

Death or Divorce Decree (if applicable) from Petitioner & Applicant

Police Certificate

Each applicant aged 16 or older must have police clearance from any country where the applicant resided for one year or more.

If you have lived in more than one cities in Indonesia for six months or longer you should get the police certificate from the police region of each city (POLDA) or from the police headquarters in Jakarta (MABES POLRI, Jl. Trunojoyo, Kebayoran Baru) which covers all the districts in Indonesia.

Notarized Affidavit of Support (Form I-134 fiance(e) visa applicants) from the petitioner or other qualified sponsor along with supporting evidence:

One (1) year of US income tax returns 1040 & W-2 (copies or faxes are acceptable)

Bank statements and proof of assets

Letter of employment or job offer

Photographs two (2) color photos of each applicant in the correct format

Fee: US$ 100.00 or rupiah equivalent for each fiancé(e) visa applicant

For each document, the applicant must bring:

Originals or original certified copies by the issuing office

Photocopies of the original documents

All documents should be accompanied by English translations

Please note that if translations are required, the photocopies and translations for items 2 through 6 must be in order together with the originals (i.e. do not arrange copies and translations separately)

Do you guys think we should worry about the copies of I-129F?

No. The copy was for the 2 of you. Should something come up while the case was being adjudicated in the US, you could refer to your records. You're past that stage now and prepping for the Interview. The Consulate does not need a copy. They already have it!
