Now that our visa has been approved, guess it's time to move on to working on AOS. The work never stops. ha ha. Anyone have any special advice on this, besides what's already on this site?

Good luck!

We just submitted ours, so not sure how much advice I can give right now, other than to file soon! And be sure to file the EAD and AP with your AOS forms. That way you can work and travel as quickly as possible (and hopefully get a US driver's license once you have your EAD)!

If you have any specific questions, we'll all certainly do our best to help!

From our experience, most everything we needed to know was found on this site....

... But the US immigration system, as you have probably discovered, is ever changing and some of the information on this site needs to be updated (especially in the guides area).

Soon after your fiance' arrives in the US, go online and print copies of his I-94 (the CBP no longer gives this form at the POE). Your fiance will need this form for many things.

Before you get married, I suggest that your fiance' apply for their SS card. After marriage, get a state ID or drivers license... and of course, don't forget to submit AOS, EAD, AP before I-94 expires.

These are just suggestions. It's your choice, as your sitution may be different than ours.

Congrats to you both and good luck in your journey together :)
