... we've had her insurance thru BCBS since she got here. we got a letter from BCBS this weekend. I was expecting the standard drop or rate hike letter. nope. her insurance is going down $25 a month jan 1 because of aca... I was so pissed.

Just means the plan she had met all 10 minimum requirements. That's a good thing, shows you didn't enroll her in ####### to save some money. Good man.

Another brilliant nonsensical response. People actually responded to you with logic and reason and you have nothing to offer in return. A typical complainer who has no idea how things actually work, just wants someone to point a finger at to take the blame. It's dangerous when people let political affiliation cloud the ability to communicate properly.

Calling someone sheep over and over again without responding to their argument doesn't make you look as superior and intelligent as you believe it does. It makes you look just like the people you're complaining about.

I wasn't about the catastrophic coverage plans. the best part about her plan is BCBS lets you add a $25 a month dental plan on to your health plan....yes we've hammered them on that one. her grille is marvelous.

I finally got it to work and got a family member enrolled. They got a nice subsidy check (thank you, taxpayers with HHI of over 250K and medical device manufacturers, love ya!) and the insurance company has been in touch and there's a card in the mail.

I prefer to read stories such as yours instead of the ####### they parade on the TV news.

We do not know all the circumstances about your family member, so I do not think it is fair for people to say you are cheating the system, getting something for nothing because they are lazy, ect...
