why it took so long to get our paper forwarded to nvc to get case number? even though you already get approved by uscis n got noa2…? any idea? cuz i got approved n got my noa2 oct 24 n still now they haven't forwarded anything :

maybe texas started hoarding approved petitions like california did. took csc about 5 weeks to send our petition to NVC. they sent the petitions in bulk and will tell you to wait 8 weeks.

NOA2 Oct 15th still no case number. I am from Texas service centre. What's going on?

Our NOA2 was Oct. 23, hard copy rec'd Oct 30, from TSC. Got a noticed that the approved case was forwarded to NVC on Nov. 8. Case number issued by NVC on Nov. 18. US embassy rec'd case Nov. 22. I don't know how they are basing which case to process. I know it is a long wait. Just be patience and your turn will come soon.
