I just need a feedback from anybody that may have lived a situation like this before. My wife have her residence interview in three weeks. She doesn't speak any English. Will I be able to be an interpreter for her or there is a limitation since I am also an interested party? (I made the petition for her due to our marriage and I'll be present in the interview as my wife's husband).

I guess there may be, at least, one Spanish interpreter in every USCIS office. Am I correct?, Can anyone give us an idea how an issue like this has been managed in the past?

Thanks,

I have seen varied cases of this on VJ. Some people have done quite well interpreting for their spouse as they were questioned togehter. However, a couple fo people have also taken their own interpreter, as they were questioned seperatley.

Personally, to be on the safe side I would take someone along who can interpret for your wife in the event that you are questioned seperatley.

Best wishes for a quick and painless interview!
