I entered the US to validate my DV at the Newark Airport as my POE on 28 October.

No issues, very straight forward although I did update my address. I also made sure I immediately updated it online and received confirmation in the mail.

My SSN card arrived dated 30 October at the OLD address.

I also applied for a Reentry Permit I-331 and successfully requested an expedited case - I had the biometrics test on 18 November successfully.

It has now been almost 4 weeks to the day - should I contact USCIS?

I've searched and there seems to be many conflicting cases - 2-3 weeks seems average. I don't want to wait until the last minute to then realise that it's been lost.

I am hoping somebody can please help.

I am not sure if this is bad luck or something worse.

I have had both my green card and re-entry permit go missing.. yet the post office claims they mailed them.

Any advice apart from forking out $1K in replacement fees?

This is crazy!
