Will having a social security number under maiden name cause problems?

My fiance is arriving Dec. 24.

We are getting married Dec. 27 and she will have a new married name.

We will go to the SSA office and apply for a social security number the week of Jan. 6-10.

We will get it in her maiden name since it is likely to cause less delays.

We will then proceed to add her to my lease, bank accounts, and employer medical plan, as well as get her a CA state ID, as soon as she gets her SSN.

The question I have is that, since the SSN will be in her maiden name, when we add her to these things in her married name, will this cause issues for any of them? Or should we wait until we get the social security card, marriage certificate, go back to the SSA to get an updated social security card in her married name, and THEN add her to those things?

Also, do we have to wait until she has a SSN before sending in the AOS/EAD/AP packet? I seem to remember reading that somewhere, but cannot find it.

Not required for the AOS. Just remember that she now has two legal names--her maiden name and her married name. My mother's legal name was first maiden married, and middle maiden married, and first middle maiden and she went by middle maiden married her whole married life, but her SSC was first maiden married and she only changed her IDs when she started receiving her SSA benefits, but all bank accounts were in middle maiden married. So no it does not really matter.
