I am from Manila and My fiance is from florida which is not a legal state for same sex marriage. We are hesitant to file for k1 as we don't know what are chances are. Florida is one of the most conservative state when in regards to same sex, they do not even honor partnership etc.

It would be of great help if someone is on the same boat. We want to be together already.

We' are from Pinas too... got interviewed Jan 13 and received our visa Jan 17...my fiancee resides in Florida too, so that shouldn't pose a problem for as long as you'll get married in an equality state. Good luck.

2016-Sep-14: I-751 form, check, supporting docs sent USPS Priority Express

2016-Sep-15: ROC application received & signed for by Lakelieh

2016-Sep-15: NOA receipt date

2016-Sep-19: $590 check cashed by USCIS

2016-Sep-20: NOA/ 1-year extension letter received in mail

2018-Feb-26: ROC case transferred to local office

2018-Mar-06: ROC approved via USCIS website (WAC status check)

8-25-2014 - Appointment letter Received (Biometrics) Dated for 8/29/14

8-27-2014 - Early Walk-in SUCCESSFUL!

10-3-2014 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION!!

10-9-2014 - EAD has been Mailed - IN TRANSIT!

10-11-2014 - EAD Received!! :)
