Good luck everyone on getting the appointment letter.

We are also waiting for it since Nov. 15 .......It's very discouraging to think now we need to wait til Feb 15 or so to get it. :((

What happens if the I129F approval expires? Do we have to go back to square one even though they are the one that sit on the paper work?

Here is what they say when I asked :

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your inquiry.

The beneficiary’s case is in process of being scheduled for a visa interview. The consular officer has the authority to extend the validity of a petition if processing time exceeds the original validity. No action is required from the beneficiary and the petitioner for the extension.

Please contact us at the end of each month for further information about the appointment date.

That eased our mind a little.... :)

Thanks Pete82 for your detailed instruction on hte new process. We are now booked for April 2nd, 14. That bring total wait time since P3 to about 5 months, sucks but we are thankful for the new system and to finally having seen light at the end of the tunnel. Cảm ơn nhiều :)
