Hi everybody,

My fiance and I have been together for 8 years now. I was living in U.S, and had to return to home country this year. We want to get married, and thus decided that K1 is the fastest way to re-unite. I have some questions since we are assembling the I-129F package:

1)Do we need any financial proof at this stage? Like pay stubs from his employer, or W2s? Or do we need them once we get approved for NOA2?

2) He lives in New Jersey, and that's where we will be settling as well. Based on that, is he going to send the petition to Dallas, Texas? If we decide to use UPS or Fedex, is he going to send it to Lewisville, TX?

Any help is appreciated. I wish good luck to everybody as well.

1) No, you don't. That's for later, for the Embassy Interview step.

2) Where the petitioner lives is not relevant to where the packet gets sent to. What matters is to use either the Dallas Lockbox or the Lewisville adress.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved
