I know that this has been asked and answered. But I just want to start a new thread about this topic for those people who are currently in this situation, like me.

I called NVC and they gave me the MNL case number for my fiancé. I asked him what's next and he told me that it is now all up to US manila embassy.

Our case was forwarded to manila on october 29, 2013. Until now we're still waiting for the us manila embassy to send us the invitation letter.

Its been a month and I'm already worried. Should we still be waiting for the letter or we can go on with the process already and get an appointment for interview?

Anyone who experienced this, please be patient with me and inform me with the step by step process that we should take.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

You dont need to wait for the letter. Tell your finace to pay th visa fee at any BPI bank make sure to bring the mrv slip when paying. After four hours she can schedule her interview online. Next, register at the SLEC for the medical. It can be done atleast one week before the interview. Make sure she has her latest BC, NBI and Cenomar and you better prepare your affifavit of support(origianal),w2,itr(2012),paystus,employment letter, bank statement. Send the affidvit of support to her asap. Everything else can b copies you can just email the copies to her. I think thats all! Good luck! hit me up if u have question.

oh btw, you can google the mrv slip($240), schedule appointment interview and slec registration.

As already been said by another member you can make an appointment now for the interview right after the payment for BPI has been made. Follow this link ( thanks Hank smile.png ) for the next steps once you have the MNL number handy : http://visaconnection-philippines.com/#

When she goes to pay at BPI make sure she brings her Philippine Passport . My fiancee was asked about it . Fortunately she brought it with her. I read from another post that another member was asked about it too. Good luck.

You really should read Hank_ 's Handy Dandy, Neato-Keen (but spiffy) Guide to SuperFast K-1 Visa Chasing for Manila IV.

Seriously, no need to post another topic about it. Just find it, and read it.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I really appreciate your candidness. My apologies if my post bothers you. It is hard for a first timer LIKE ME to know all the info that was recently provided in this post for I was confuse and anxious at the same time. I've read different kind of answers so I had to post and ask it myself to get a straight answer. Now I'm relieved. You know how it felt to process paper and I was hoping for your kind consideration. Anyway thanks for mentioning about hank.

Don't mind Darnell, he doesn't like Asians. (just kidding!!)

Actually, he was talking to Niblet, not you. Have you found Hank's site that outlines all that you need to do?

nah, you've crossed the streams, thinking I was replying to you instead of that dastardly wicked timewaster known as niblet.

If'n you study the content, once clicking the link at post #4, you'll be fine.

Can't see post #'s, you say? Come back on a PC, study yer topic again.

Do note, I am quite candid about dastardly wicked timewasters. I not use that label on you.
